The alarm went off at 6:00 A M. this morning. I did not jump out of bed, but did eventually get up. I have to be at work at 7:30A.M.
At the end of the work day I drove to Memory Lane and added some new jewels to my already full booth. I know I need to declutter. Next home and the wash.

no internet
I had a fit yesterday because I could not get into any kind of internet services. I had to leave for chior practice and asked my husband to please do something about this while I was gone. When I got home I had one crabby husband because he worked his little heart out and could not fix the problem. I then recived a call on my cell and this person was telling how cableone had been without service the entire day. They were hoping the problem would be fixed the next day. Relayed all this information to my husband----all he had to say was goodnight.
My internet is now back!!!!!

If you love snow just come to Iowa!!!! We have 30 inches in our yard. I do not want to even guess how deep some of the drifts are. The school playground has been cleared. They moved the snow over by the 10 foot fence. Well, now the kids can just walk over th snow pile and be on the other side of the playground. We are also dealing with the temps. Well below zero. They say a heat wave is moving in. It may reach the middle 20's next week.

It is December31,2009 and I think I am ready for 2010---so HAPPY NEW YEAR
I am trying to make a pair of mittens out of a old wool sweater. I have shrunk the wool and cut out a pattern the shape of the mitten. I cut the pattern small --the next pair I will attempt to enlarge it to fit an adult. I will now attempt to hand sew it together. I am a little scared but I must forge ahead.
